True there are worse crimes, but being a poor parent is not one that can be excused. You should be looking to improve your daughter's life, not making excuses for your own inability to improve yourself.

Your daughter is getting someone she loves who can keep her in the lifestyle to which she is accustomed. I think, personally, she has done very well for herself.
