    Leaving the house never looked so appealing before.  Salome was tired and aching, and everyone was on edge from what happened the night before.  Not to mention the constant stream of phone calls and attempts at the press to get an interview or a photo.  She couldn't leave the state, especially with Jonba so going upstate with Bobby was a good, safe idea.

Picking up the blond boy from the floor, she grunted a little bit at his weight against her side and arms.  He grumbled a little bit, but she gave him a look before handing him his Elmo doll and took him back upstairs to her bed room.  Stepping inside she smiled at Hiro as the boy hid his face against her neck.

    "Don't be shy, it's Hiro, he's going to take us on a trip."

"Mochiron?! What does that mean?" Beaming broadly she managed to look a little shy. "I am very glad you are my friend, I don't know what I would do, without having someone to talk to about this. Without having to explain every thing."

"At least that's something, good for you! I am always pleased when friends are having good sex! Oh god that sounded weird." Laughing at herself she patted his leg. "Ignore them, and ignore me when I sound like an idiot."

"Thank you, that means a lot, knowing that you would help me like that. I will also do what you suggested, hiding that money away. The last thing I would want . . . is to be without means."

"It means 'naturally!', 'of course!', that sort of thing. I accept that you have your secrets and that we have not known each other very long. Sometimes keeping secrets is the only way to survive."

"A little weird," Hiro agrees, but he's smiling. "But then I am a little weird, so I guess it fits."

"Does Jonba have an account or a trust fund or something? You may wish to do the same for his if you are able to get to it. A foreign account may be a good thing. A Swiss account if you have that much."

"I will have to remember that, I will try to anyway. Thank you for not trying to get my secrets out of me. One day, when we've known each other for a long time maybe we can finally spill our guts."

Laughing, she nodded as she rubbed her feet against the bed spread. "It's nice to be around other weird people. I meant it in a nice way though! I just want my friends to be happy."

"I am not sure, I didn't even think to look into that. He might, I know dad was always paranoid that he was taken care of. If I look into it and get back to you, will you point me in the right direction?"

"I would never make you tell me anything you feel uncomfortable telling me."

"Just as we want to see you happy. You have a wonderful smile. We want to see it more often."

"Sure. I would be more than happy to help you with anything like that."

"I guess it's not so weird for me, it makes other people comfortable."

Laughing, she put her head on his knee. "It sounds weird when you say 'we' like there is more then one Hiro."

"Would you be the executor of my estate?" She was still grinning, half joking at the question.

"What? Telling everything? Why do people have to know everything? That's part of the fun of a friendship, learning things as you go."

"I think all of your real friends would agree with me. Like Bobby."

He looks a little confused. Some of the legal terms are a bit beyond his knowledge in English. "You wish me to execute your estate?"

"I am really not sure, maybe issues with boundaries, or people just want to get it all out in the open. Some secrets eat away at your soul until you have to get it out."

"Ah, yes, like Bobby. I would like to think that too."

Opening her eyes she looked at him and smiled. "When someone passes away they appoint someone to make sure their final wishes are taken care of. Their affairs are in order."

"But it is up to you to decide when you have to 'let it out'. Not anyone else."

"He is a good man. He seems to like Jonba. I think he will be a good father, whenever he decides to have a family."

"I would be happy to see that your wishes are seen to. It is important to see to your family's or friend's wishes, even when they pass."

"What if they beat it out of you? We have ways of making you talk. . ." All said with a rather bad German accent.

"I told you, he's the bees knees. He's a great big brother, and a great dad when he finally has babies. If he ever does."

"Thank you, Hiro, that is very nice of, I know I could trust you." Rolling on to her side, she put her cheek against his knee.

"Then I will have to 'suck it up' and take it." Hiro can't do accents other than his own (although he can do a Texan accent if he really thinks abou it).

"Which is why he handles Jonba so well. I am not around children often."

He smiles down at her. "However, it is more likely that I will pass first. I am a man. Women live much longer than men."

She spoke between giggles. "You are doing very well, thus far, I must say. Keep it up, cowboy."

"Really? You got along with Jonba very well, he likes you. One day you'll make an excellent father, I am positive of it. Or you can take Jonba." It was a joke, obviously.

"No!" She got up and hugged him all of a sudden. "Nope, you can't I won't let you, and what I say goes, okay?"

"It comes from living in Texas for several months. I am rather surprised that my English does not always sound like I am from Texas, but I guess I picked up the California accent from Ando."

"I will adopt Jonba when we get married." He's grinning a lot at that. "Then we will have the big house in Tokyo."

"Ok, we will have to go at the same time. Of course that means you may have to go time travelling with me."

"I like it, it totally works for you, I think that might be your new Nickname. Tex, oh, yeah that works on so many levels I don't know why I didn't think about it before."

Her smile was so broad that it actually showed teeth. "That sounds perfect, Tex. Just wonderful." Even as she spoke, she felt a weird tightening in her stomach, but pushed it away. "You know I would be a very dutiful wife."

"Oh man, really, what a bummer!" Laughing she gave him a look. "I would love to! There's nothing I would like more."

"Tex? Now I am a cowboy. I will have to find my stetson. I really have one."

"And I would be the dutiful husband. Bring home the bacon and all that. Tell you about my horrible working day. The children would run around and make a lot of noise."

"I knew you would hate the idea." He's still grinning.

"I would like to see you in one, is it big and white? Please tell me it is!"

"I would make sure that your dinner was on the table, and I would wear a strand of pearls, and an apron. Can you imagine our children! Hyper, time traveling little kids." Despite how odd it sounded, it also seemed nice.

"You would have to bend my arm, completely. Drag me kicking and screaming . . ." Her voice trailed off and she watched him, rather transfixed.

"It is big, but it is tan. I could not find a white one when I could afford to get one."

Hiro giggles a bit. "And they would keep popping in out of dinner to avoid eating their vegetables."

"Salome?" He's got an uncertain expression on his face.

"Ahhh, nuts! Well that's okay, I bet it looks just as good. White, tan, it doesn't matter!"

Salome giggled along with him, "they would! We would have to keep time traveling leashes on them or something! When they misbehaved I would give you a very pained expression and say something like: 'they get that from you, you know!'"

Ducking her head, she blushed quickly as she fought the urge to fling herself into the pillows. "I'm sorry! I was just thinking . . .oh that was impolite of me, I'm sorry."

"We have to figure out where to get time travelling leashes. Certainly we cannot have them running around time heedlessly. Who knows what they would break? And I would get a guilty look and say, 'Hai, hai, it is my fault.'"

"What is impolite? Thinking? Or what you were thinking?" Hiro still looks confused.

"Ha! We could go into the future, they have to have them there. A future Target, you can get two time traveling leashes, and the third one is free." She could picture the face all too easily, and that got her giggling. "No matter what, I would still love you, even if your children kept bringing back dinosaurs to play in the living room."

"Well - I was staring. . .and . . ." Leaning up on her knees, she finally moved forward and kissed him quickly on the lips.

"Oh no, not the dinosaurs. They will make a mess of everything and we will have to buy a new couch again."

Hiro stares at her confused, then smiles gently. "You're welcome."

And damnit! I posted this. It must have gotten eaten! Damned dinos!

"We go through more couches that way, I swear! Plus you know they always track mud in on the nice carpet."

Laughing breathlessly, she put her hand against her cheek and looked down at her knees. what possessed her to do something like that? Thankfully he brushed it off as a thank you kiss.

Nodding she tucked hair behind her ear. "Thank you, Hiro, truly. I don't know why I did that."

"We should get a muddy brown carpet so that the tracks will not show!"

Hiro smiles with a great big smile. He's glad he didn't misinterpret her kiss. He doesn't want to make assumptions he shouldn't. "That is ok. I am very happy to help you."

Yeah, Hiro had problems with them earlier this year.

"Nooo, it won't go with the couch and drapes, you know I spent a lot of time fixing up the house to make it perfect. Don't walk all over my hard work and efforts!"

Her teeth on her bottom lip kept her from smiling when he did, at least he looked happy. "That's because you are a beautiful person, inside and out, Hiro. You give me hope that everything is going to be okay. You . . . do a lot for me."

"You know I only walk on the papers. It's the dinosaurs who walk all over everything. Including the chairs."

"I hope I can. Hope is a very good thing to have when times are dark. It helps you see that you will be happy again once this is all over."

Yeah, got attacked by them in Roanoke. The post actually made it to the Tammys for funny RP.

"As soon as this is over, I don't know what I'll do, but it will be big." Shaking her head, she slid off the bed and stood up, stretching she paced a little bit. Antsy, she moved around the room so she didn't end up doing something stupid. "Have you ever gone crazy?"
