I know some people would laugh at the fact that it called me well adjusted. 

Once I stop laughing, I'll go back to crushing the weak.

*Groaning, she rolled her eyes and hurried out to the kitchen. A few moments later, she came back with something behind her back. *Oh she was nervous, afraid that he would think this was her goofing off again, that he would laugh at her.*

*He didn't say anything for a bit, he was too stunned. Touched. No one had ever given him flowers before, it was usually the other way around. Reaching for the gerber daisies, he smiled.* I'd love to go on a date with you, Salome.

*He kissed her cheek, just under hear ear and murmured softly.* Thank you.

*Her eyes widened, her grin stretched from ear to ear as she tried to keep her hands from shaking. She was so sure he would say no, that he would laugh. Letting out a breathless laugh she swallowed.* Y-you are welcome, Mortie! I - I have it all planned out, do you like sushi? I mean that was just one half of it, we don't have to have that.

*Flowers in one hand, he brought an arm around her shoulders and hugged her. He could tell from her tone and the way she retracted things as soon as she said them that she was a bit anxious.* Sushi's fine...

*Another quick squeeze and he let her go, holding up the bouquet.* I should put these in water, don't want them to die.

*It took her a moment to hug him, she was just still in shock, still on cloud nine from him saying yes to her. Nodding she rocked back and forth on her heels as she put her hands in the back pockets of her shorts. If she didn't she would start biting her thumb nail, and he didn't like that.*

Yes, okay, it will be a surprise. But do you have tomorrow evening off, well we can do it tomorrow or the day after. It's an evening thing though, oh, and you should dress nice. Oh, do you like the flowers? They were just so beautiful and bright . . .

*All of a sudden she started blinking hard, she was going to cry, oh God Lord. Ducking her head she squeezed her eyes shut.* Yes, water would be good for them.
