Letter to the universe.

    To whom it may concern,

            I respectfully refuse this as monday morning.  I don't like it, and I don't want it, please take it back and give it to me in a couple of days.  Whoever thought, that was a long enough weekend is clearly on something, and I don't like it.  Please don't make me go to school.

I hate you mondays.  Sooooo hard.

Hiro jumps back a little when Jonba jumps out. "You scared me, Cookie Monster! You came out of nowhere!" He starts walking around with Jonba attached to his leg. "Oh no, I have been caught by a Cookie Monster! He is going to gnaw off my leg!"

"He's never going to let you go, you know." Salome steps out on to the porch, grinning at the two of them. Jonba continues to laugh and hold on to Hiro's leg, he jumps off when he sees Salome and rushes to hug her quickly. She scoops him up. "Ready to go, darling?"

He smiles and makes a bow towards the limo. "Our carriage awaits, m'lady." The driver smiles and opens the door of the limo for them. It has a DVD player in case Jonba wants to watch anything while they go. Hiro knows that most kids don't like long car trips after they've explored the interiors.

There are a couple of blankets on the seat. One of them is obviously for Jonba as it's smaller and has pictures of Elmo on it. The other is multicolored and more than big enough for both of them. "It is sort of chilly tonight," he says.

Jonba climbs in because, hey, he's a kid and kids love to climb over everything and this is just another chance to climb around and break himself! He makes a bee line for the Elmo blanket and shows it to Salome and then Hiro as soon as they climb into the car.

She crosses her legs and holds Jonba as he points out the picture to Hiro, pointing to the muppet. "Elmo, Jonba love Elmo. otousan like Elmo?"

"Otosan likes Elmo, too. That is why I got his blanket for you." He takes the big blanket and throws it across all of them He thumbs the intercom and tells the driver to take them to IHOP.

The big limo heads into the night. The inside is warm and comfy.

"Do either of you want something to drink?"

"No thank you, Hiro." Jonba laughs and climbs out from under the blanket before grabbing it and throwing it over Hiro and jumping on him. Salome's job is to make sure he doesn't fall and crack his head open.

The little boy just seems to love flinging himself at the older man and a few times Salome has to catch him and whisper in his ear until he settles down.

Hiro laughs as Jonba throws the blanket at him, then catches him. "I have a Cookie Monster! My Cookie Monster!" He squishes the boy before he gives him over to Salome.

"Oooh if he's yours, you can have him!" She laughs before playfully tossing him at Hiro. It's not very far, just on to his lap, but Jonba seems to like it a lot, he laughs hard.

"Mine, mine, I am going to eat him up!" He makes like he's gnawing on Jonba's head. "Nom nom nom."
